Downtown Prague
New Library
Prague's central Oklahoma location makes it a very attractive location for business, industry and people who commute to the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metropolitan areas.
Major highway improvements from Prague South to I-40 and North to I-44 have been approved and planned by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. The Highway 99 corridor through downtown Prague has undergone a multi-million dollar improvement.
Prague's new public library opened in the fall of 2006. This beautiful new building is located in Prague on Highway 62 west. Friends of the Library organized several years ago and began having fundraisers with plans of building a new public library. Thanks to generous contributions from the community and the award of a grant of approximately $70,000, the dream of a new library became a reality.
